My name is Pavel Kříž, a platform and software engineer with hands-on experience running large-scale, production-critical services and also software development, both full-stack apps and cloud infrastructure components. My journey began in computer graphics and evolved through pure Software Engineering before I found my niche in combination with cloud With MSc in Software Engineering, I specialize in bridging the gap between DevOps, Backend Development, and scalable Infrastructure.

2016

• I coded first calculator, I liked it sooo much 😀

2017 - 2023

• Studying computer graphics at FIT CTU in Prague (ČVUT)
• Erasmus in Germany at RWTH Aachen
• Joining the Erasmus Student Network, ESN during studies
• First scientific paper published
• Finishing masters in software engineering at CTU

2023 - 2026

• New position at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology as a platform and cloud engineer.

• Starting career again in Prague
